Mental Health Struggles of Gen Z in 2025: Kya Aap Bhi Isse Guzar Rahe Hain?

Aaj ka zamaana fast-paced hai – har cheez instant chaiye, har jawab turant, aur har sapna jaldi poora. Is dauraan, ek poori generation – Gen Z – ek aise struggle se guzar rahi hai jo bahar se dikhta nahi: Mental Health ka struggle.

Jahan pehle ke zamanon mein log sirf physical health ko importance dete the, aaj Gen Z ne mental health ko lekar ek naye conversation ki shuruaat ki hai. Lekin kya yeh conversation sirf reels tak simit hai? Kya hum waaqai samajh pa rahe hain ki anxiety, depression, FOMO, overthinking jaise lafz sirf fancy nahi balki real battles hain?

Social Media ka Pressure

Instagram, Snapchat, aur TikTok jaisi platforms par hum perfect lives dikhate hain – flawless selfies, exotic vacations, aur hustle culture ke videos. Lekin in sabke peeche hoti hai ek comparison ka zehar, jo dheere-dheere self-worth ko khokhla karta hai. Har kisi ko lagta hai ki wo pichhe reh gaya hai. Har doosra insaan zyada successful, zyada happy, aur zyada sorted lagta hai.

Hustle Culture ka Hypnotism

"Rise and grind," "Sleep is for the weak," jaisi motivational lines humein lagta hai ki push karti hain, lekin asal mein yeh burnout ki taraf le jaati hain. Gen Z har waqt productive rehne ke pressure mein jeeti hai. Lekin kabhi socha hai ki kabhi-kabhi kuch na karna bhi zaroori hota hai?

Therapy: Ek Naya Normal

Ek positive shift yeh aaya hai ki aaj ki generation therapy ke concept ko openly accept kar rahi hai. Ab log yeh kehne se nahi katrate ki wo therapist ke paas ja rahe hain. Lekin abhi bhi kai jagah isse taboo mana jaata hai. Log kehte hain, "Pagal ho gaye ho kya?" – aur yahi soch mental health ke liye sabse badi rukawat hai.

Family aur Society ka Role

Hamari society abhi bhi mental health ko samajhne mein peeche hai. Ghar mein agar kisi ko anxiety ho, toh jawab milta hai: "So jao, sab theek ho jayega." Ya fir, "Itna sochega toh pareshaan toh hoga hi." Par yeh samajhna hoga ki mental health bhi utni hi real hai jitni koi physical illness.

Kya Solution Hai?

  1. Self-awareness: Apne emotions ko samajhna aur accept karna seekhna hoga.

  2. Digital detox: Har kuch dikhana zaroori nahi hota. Kabhi-kabhi phone down karke apne aap se baat karo.

  3. Therapy lena: Yeh weakness nahi, strength ka sign hai.

  4. Support system banana: Doston, family ya kisi mentor ke saath khulkar baat karna seekho.

  5. Kindness spread karo: Kisi ko judge karne se pehle ek baar socho – shayad wo bhi kuch ladayi lad raha ho.


Aakhri Alfaaz

Mental health ki baat karna zaroori hai. Gen Z ke paas awareness hai, tools hai, aur awaaz bhi hai. Bas zarurat hai is awaaz ko aur uncha karne ki – taaki har insaan samajh sake ki dikhne wale smile ke peeche bhi kabhi-kabhi aansu chhupe hote hain.
